HEY EVEREHBAHDEHHHH. Here's a list of MUST DO'S AND KNOWS for the outing teehee.
1) *THIS IS IMPORTANT* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEE x 6390482974328762 bring MATS
for us to sit and picnic on. Those who have PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE bring. TYVM~
2) Bring extra money for DINNER which will be at Pizza Hut a VIVOCITY. I know,
it may be kinda expensive BUT remembahh it's for the vegetarians! ^^ (don't be
ano and wind up eating apples)
3) BETTER REMEMBER THIS HOR. Bring EXTRA CLOTHES. And PREPARE (seriously, even
if you weren't) to get WET. So basically, bring an extra set of clothes for
dinner if you plan to get the outfit you were wearing TO Sentosa wet. So, in
short, kiasu people bring 3. PSTTT, if you have your period just bring kays, and
bring extra clothes too ^^ you can STILL splash around.
4) Those who wish to get full on wet (PROLLY MOST OF US COS IN THE END
YOU CAN'T RESIST PEER PRESSURE AND JUST GIVE IN) try to shower kays! O: if not
you go for dinner then we'll stink up the whole restaurant. So bring your own
towel, gel, shampoo whatever you need or you can share between each other ^^
5) PLEASE remember to pay Tracey the $2 (okay I'm not very sure if this was the
amount we agreed on) for the class party. Try to do it BY Wednesday? :DD but if
can't, at least by Friday during the dance exam ^^ those who have problems with
paying for the class fund please come and look for any of the admins
6) PEOPLE WHO HAVE THESE STUFF PLEASE BRING FOR THE CLASS:
- Basketball (they have a court there, and no I don't have one)
- Beach Balls (I TRY TO BRING :D)
- Volleyballs (I don't have rawr)
ANY FUN BALLS :D OH PLUS FRISBEE :3
7) Now for the important part (:< WET WEATHER PLAN-
- We will TRY to CONFIRM the plan through mass SMS the NIGHT BEFORE so CHECK
YOUR PHONES :D and/or Facebook/Class blog/Yahoo Groups etc.

7. ACP: 50mins of activites (music and dance) to entertain kids
- Interactive dance workshops
- Small segments to move around and try out many different activities
- P4-P5 (educational and entertaining)
- Ambassadors = crowd motivators
- MUSIC Genres: ballroom, hip hop, classical (waltz?), rock
- DANCE: KPOP, cheerleading (girls), mass dance, aces day workout
Please have a look at these two brochures I have scanned for you. Teacher i/c for this project is Ms Nora Kamsir (???). You can collaborate with this groups to design activities for the children involved in the Mendaki programme.

First and foremost, let me give you an overview of what Cahaya M is about and what we do here. Cahaya M is a resource centre where our low income Malay Muslim beneficiaries can capitalize on our available resources. Our resources are not only confined to books, but also manipulatives, monthly activities and learning visits. This is where your team can come in.
See, our monthly activities are based on themes subject to approval of course. To date, we’ve done themes on:
-Theatre
-Mathematics
-Sports
-Costumes & Customs
-Science
-Languages
-Singapore
-Art
And many more…
Our theme this month is “Explore!” where we cover almost everything that we could possibly discover, Science, Arts, etc. We are proposing that maybe your team can come in for the month of July-August 2010. Your team can come up with the lesson plans and activities, worksheets for our beneficiaries ages 4-12 years old. The proposed theme are attached. See under July-Aug. It’s quite flexible, so if you have any suggestions to change the theme to something more interesting, do let me know. Attached also, a sample of the lesson plan and our worksheets.
It’s best that you can divide yourselves into groups of 8. Your team can also plan learning visits (outdoors) subject to the theme and we will plan the transport and admission tickets, etc. If the activities need materials to prepare, your team could purchase them first, subject to the approval of budget and we can claim for you. Your team can also volunteer on a day to day basis. For example, if we lack volunteers for any particular outing, events.
Most of the indoor sessions will be held at Yayasan MENDAKI, the address is as below after my signatory. We have facilities like a Video-Screening Room, Large Field and the Hall.
It is quite difficult to target a certain pool as we are targeting 40 children for each session. That is why we need a team of 8 or at least 5 each time so they can be taught in groups of different level.
If there are any queries, feel free to drop me or Rozita a line.
We hope to working with you and your team very soon. Once you confirm that your team is taking these 2 months, the plans and worksheets can be submitted by end of May.
